Heavy Duty Floor Crane with Jib Arm Longer Than The Chassis

This is a heavy duty floor crane modified so that the jib arm protrudes (sticks out) further than the end of the forward facing stability feet. This is possible by adding counterbalance weight to the rear of the crane chassis. Each crane is designed for a specific application with dimensions and SWL to customers specification. There are many additional features that can be built onto this type of workshop crane including a rotating jib arm that will articulate 15 degrees left or right) We can also supply this crane made from stainless steel or Modular construction so that the crane can be easily split and re-assembled.

This heavy duty rigid leg floor crane can be supplied with a removable vertical mast, horizontal lifting arm and hydraulics. This is referred to as our export version because it is more easily packed for export orders.

Case Studies of the Short Leg Long Jib Floor Crane

Below is an example of a bespoke version of our the long arm, short leg counter-weight floor crane. This sample product was made to lift telecommunications boxes into place on the streets of the UK. The crane is fitted with large Castor's for ease of movement over foot paths and for getting up pavements. The arm articulates to allow the cabinets to be positioned into corners, giving maximum maneuverability. On this unit we supplied bespoke lifting beam and the crane was fitted with push pull handle.
