REID’s PORTA-GANTRY range of lightweight, portable aluminium gantries, with a unique WLL range to 5000kg, brings a new dimension to the  professional lifting market. The portability, safe, manual assembly and rigidity of the structure, with their highly flexible configurations, opens up new markets for the use of gantries, with lifting applications such as confined space, rooftop, HVAC, lift-shaft, waste water, clean environments and many more.

The PORTA-GANTRY is a bolted structure with lateral beam and leg bracing giving tremendous stability and rigidity under load. The component sections are designed to give the maximum load capacity at minimum weight without compromising safety factors and have all been thoroughly type tested at NAMAS accredited laboratories and each individual system load tested to 150% of WLL rating and supplied with individual Test Certificate. The PORTA-GANTRY is easy to use on all sites with very simple dismantling into 4 portable parts and assembled in a unique method on just 4 bolts. Additional beams can be used for different applications.

Beam height adjustment

The height of each gantry beam is easily adjusted by the release of 2 bolts on each upright and can be easily and safely raised into position by increments of 200 or 150mm.

To assist with this activity a Geared Wheel or Ratchet system is provided for the larger gantries.

The A-frames, beam and trolley are portable and the unit is readily manually assembled. An anodised finish makes it easy to wash-down and suitable for use in clean environments. A-frames are fitted with a hand wheel/gear system to aid the raising & lowering of the upright/beam. The unit has a fail-safe automatic lock to prevent the upright falling if hands slip off the wheel. This system is not for raising or lowering of the load to be lifted, it is for beam height setting only.

5000kg - PGSS05000T-4570 - (T)

PORTA-GANTRY lightweight, aluminium gantry system rated at WLL 5000kg, as a Tall configuration c/w 4570mm beam and unique captive beam trolley with manual locking mechanism, fitted with 360o rotation, swivel-locking castors.

Available Gantry Options For Porta-Gantry 5000

 

GEAR Wheel mechanical aid systems for PORTA-GANTRY 5000 beam/upright height adjustment. Geared hand wheel system fitted to each A-Frame to aid the raising + lowering of the upright/beam. The unit has a fail-safe automatic lock to prevent the upright falling if hands slip off the wheel. The system is not for raising or lowering of the load to be lifted it is for beam height setting only.
Stabiliser set (Pair) fitted to a T gantry as standard, optional on an I size gantry. The Gantry A-frames are fitted with a two position stabiliser leg and castor, which enables the A-frames to be manoeuvred independently and also assists with gantry beam assembly, the stabiliser legs are to be stowed prior to Gantry operation. The weight of each stabiliser is 15kg.
