Camlok Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamp, available with a smooth jaw or serrated (teeth) jaw on all models (HH models are from high strength steel)..

1000kg, 2000kg, 4 tonne, 6 tonne, 8 tonnes and 10 tonne SWL capacity options available.

The CH/HH Series of plate clamps are sold in pairs.

  • Optional plate thicknesses for wider plates
  • See operating instructions for multiple plate applications.
  • Used with a 2 leg sling upto 90º on all types of plate.

Camlok CH/HH series Clamps are SOLD IN PAIRS.

Used in pairs the Camlok CH Clamp is designed for loading process machines and to lift and transport sheet steel plate in the horizontal position. A single pair of clamps supported from a 2 legged chain sling (maximum included angle 90º) are used to lift short lengths of plates. Long lengths of plate must be lifted using 2 pairs of clamps supported from a lifting beam. Standard clamps are supplied with smooth jaws, these can be replaced with jaws with serrated hardened steel teeth if requested.

The integral shackle is designed to except directly the relevant sized chain sling hook. The clamp is designed for use with 2 legged slings only. Never attempt to reeve a single leg chain sling through the shackles. Note The CH1 clamps have one jaw only. The HH8 and HH8L clamps are fabricated from high tensile steel for a lower tare weight and ease of handling. CH clamps can be designed to suit any load or plate thickness.

The CH Series of plate clamps are sold in pairs and can be used with a 2 leg sling at 90° on all types of materials in plate form, providing that the plate can withstand the forces imposed on to it. The standard clamps are supplied with smooth jaws and are suitable for lifting one plate at a time, or bundles of plate providing the plates are of the same width, have straight square sides and are thicker than 10% of the maximum thickness.
