Camlok THS Series Thin Sheet Lifting Clamps

The Camlok THS Clamp has a spring/lever operated mechanism that securely locks the clamp onto the horizontally positioned plate. The clamps are used in pairs or 2 pairs supported from a lifting beam to lift and transport plate in the horizontal position. The ability to lock the clamp onto the plate enables a single operator to quickly and safely set up the plate for lifting. The clamp is particularly useful for loading plates into guillotines, presses, punching and folding presses. The loading mechanism is pre-tensioned ensuring a safe lift. These clamps can be used in pairs or singly.

Applications The Camlok THS series of horizontal plate clamps can be used singly or with a 2 leg sling maximum angle 60°on all structural steel plates up to surface hardness of 300 Brinell. These clamps are designed to lift and handle single sheet steel plates in a horizontal position. They are particularly useful for loading plates into machines and folding presses but care must be taken not to exceed the maximum sling angle. The THS horizontal plate clamp offers several options including size and lifting capacity as with the rest of our range camlok products are designed to fulfil a wide verity of applications.
