PALAIR® PLUS hoists are powered by a recenty upgraded, unique, non-metallic, gear motor. This motor is renowned for its durability when woking with "poor" air in unfavorable conditions. The hoists are light weight and compact in design. They feature precise load postioning through a "progressive" pendent control. For Europe, they meet the requirements of the European Machinery Directive and are marked CE.
The PALAIR® PLUS is ideal for maintenance or produciton jobs, especially where lube-free air is required. Stainless steel chain (suffix code X) and spark resisitant options available. Capacity range is from 550 lbs (250kg) to 4400 lbs (2000kg).
Features
- The Palair Plus lube-free hoist can be operated without supply air lubrication. No oil mist is exhausted to the surrounding environment. Excellent for "clean rooms", food processing areas, textile industry, or any area where exhaust oil mist cannot be tolerated.
- Unique two part gear motor is made from a high-strength, durable composite material.
- The self adjusting disc brake is spring applied and requires low air pressure for smooth release.
- Thoughtful design features include high strength polymer chain guides for fast, smooth operation, and a compact housing design with protected limit switches and no external linkages.

- Fully integrated top and bottom limit switches.
- Overload protection device as standard on CE marked 1.6 and 2 tonne versions, (optional on all other versions).
Versatility
- Numerous options available for adaptation to your application: chain containers, rigid mounting trolleys, CE compliant versions, specific versions with stainless steel load chain.
