The Lodestar is a tough and durable electric chain hoist, designed to keep working in the most arduous applications. This hoist is recognised and proven, within the hire industry as the number one hoist where high duty, combined with long heights of lift are required.
Features Include:
- 110 or 230 volt options.
- 250kg to 3000kg SWL.
- 50% duty rating (30 minutes continuous use per hour).
- Overload protection.
- Heights of lift up to 60 metres available.
- Thermal overload protection on the hoist motor.

The Yale load star (lodestar) is manufactured by CM (Columbus Mckinnon) and has and is a very top level truly excellent quality single phase electric chain hoist with thousands of hoists being supplied over decades. The lodestar range are supplied in the UK with 1Ph 230v, 1Ph 110v or 3ph 400v power supplies and from 250kg up to 3000kg. The hoist is only supplied hook suspended though we can supply it with a push, geared or electric travel trolley; when used with a powered travel single phase trolley we would use a single pendant controlling both the trolley and the CM electric chain hoist. Do not be put off by the old fashioned appearance of the Yale load star, if it isn't broken don't mend it!
