  • Fall arrest examples and samples
  • Rescue from height
  • Equipment and PPE requirements
  • Fixed / installed anchorage points EN795 examples:
  • Temporary anchorages all must be EN795
  • Karabiners explain & samples
  • Working at height regulations 05-04-05 - rescue plans for anyone working at height are compulsory (section 4)
  • Authorisation. All in-house procedures must be followed, risk assessments, method statements, permits and rescue plans
  • Location of rescue kits
  • Critical rescue times after a fall
  • Suspension trauma
  • AG10 / RG9 rescue system procedure for use
  • Classroom demonstration for the rescue system
  • Practical demonstration of the rescue procedure using a mannequin dummy lets the delegates as a group perform a rescue on the dummy under supervision
  • Split the delegates into groups of two persons, perform the rescue under observation. Re-cap with all after each rescue, continue the above procedure until all delegates are confident and deemed competent to perform emergency rescue and evacuation from height.

  • The Price advertised is per course, per day.
  • The number of trainees that can take part in any one course is based on their level of competence, the type of course, the location in which the course is being run. All decisions are made at the discression of the trainer.
