This is a truly portable swing jib crane that requires zero floor penetration.

The davit is completely free standing and portable. The davit illustrated is 50kg capacity and 270 degree slew, 1500mm reach and 2.2 metre high though we manufacture these to order and can make to our customers specification (with-in limits)Height of lift can be to customers requirements and can be achieved by manual hand winch (Hand hoisting|) or by means of an electric wire rope hoist (AC or DC)

The free standing davit is manufactured in easy to handle component parts providing the ability to transport and erect quickly and safely either to a to a new location on the same site or in on a vehicle and used elsewhere!

Originally the counterbalanced davit are was designed for building maintenance there are many other potential uses where portability is required or where penetration of the roof / floor is not practical or to costly.
