Certification must be requested at time of order. Shackles are quenched and tempered and can meet DNV impact requirements of 42 joules at -20 C.

Forged - quenched and tempered, with alloy bolt. G-2130CT - Carbon Steel; G-2140CT - Alloy Steel; Fatigue rated (G-2130CT only). All sizes are individually proof tested to 2.0 times the Working Load Limit. Finish is inorganic zinc primer or hot dipped galvanized. All sizes of this shackle are Quenched and Tempered for maximum strength. Made from forged alloy steel from 7 through 300 metric tons and cast alloy steel from 400 through 1550 metric tons. All ratings are in metric tons, embossed on side of bow. Sizes 300 tons and smaller are proof tested to 2 times the Working Load Limit. Sizes 400 tons and larger are tested to 1.33 times the Working Load Limit. G-2160 bows are furnished Dimetcoted and pins are Dimetcoted, then painted red. 30-1550t are RFID equipped. Greatly improves wear-ability of wire rope slings.

14.  Crosby G209R ROV anchor shackles.

These shackles have capacities from 6.5 to 55 metric tonnes. They are forged - quenched and tempered, with alloy pins. The working load limit is permanently shown on every shackle. The also feature quick-check deformation and angle indicators forged on the bow.

All ROV shackle bows, unless otherwise noted are galvanised and then painted fluorescent yellow.
