The energy absorber safely stops a fall from a height. Without a shock absorber a free fall of more than 50cm can cause serious injuries. This energy absorber is the type in which the textile weft tears . It limits the shock to which the user is subjected in the event of a fall to less than 5 KN and will stop a 4 m free fall.

Tractel Rope Protector is an edge protection for climbing ropes or rescue ropes from sharp or abrasive surfaces, preventing fraying or cutting of the rope. Made from lightweight aluminium.

The handle, equipped with an ascending loop used with a rope clamp, enables independent upward movement along a rope.

The rope clamps are used independently for rope manoeuvres.
The ascending loop is made of 20 mm PA strap, adjustable from 0.80 to 1.60 m.
