Tractel Drum Handling Clamps

These hooks are designed to be used in pairs with shackles and 2-legged sling(rope, chain or strap). These accessories are adapted to many cable drums. They fit holes with diameters from 55 to 83 mm. Slings and shackles not provided.

The Tractel TOPAL VDL Clamp is a handling accessory to lift open or closed vertical metal drums with edges (Standard drums with edge on each face).

These grabs are for lifting standard metal drums in vertical position (capacity 225 litres).Clamping is proportional to the load, thus minimising drum’s deformation risk.

Grabs for lifting and turning standard metal drums (capacity 225 litres). The drum can be gripped vertically or horizontally. An indexing enables it to be held in position in both cases.

VFB 03 S - This model is fitted with an open position locking system to set down the drum without having to operate the grab.

VFB 03 A - This model is fitted with an automatic device to grip and set down the drum without having to operate the grab.

VFB 03 AR - This model is also fitted with a reduction gear to gradually empty the drum without effort.

The VLF is equipped with a system of rim pinching. The handle makes the clamp's positioning and locking onto the drum is easier. Clamping is proportional to the load, thus minimising the damage risk.
