Steel Drum Hook Suspended (Crane Slung) Drum Attachments

This is designed to lift drums in the vertical position and turn them through 90 degrees to the horizontal position. Can be used to tip containers to 180 degrees but it can not place the drum down in this position.

The DAF is fitted with adjustable arms to suit fork lift truck tine centres of 570mm to 850mm. This does not subject the drum to crushing loads. Designed to handle round materials such as drums in the vertical position.

This may be fitted under a fork mounted hook, fork or carriage mounted jib, or under an overhead or lorry mounted crane. This is semi-automatic in operation. This drum lifter is used for picking up 210 litre drums of the tight-head or open topped steel varieties. Simple but effective drum handling.

The geared chain control makes this lifter suitable for use at any height. 10ft Control chain can be locked to secure in transit and dispensing.

This can either be used under slung from a forklift or overhead from a crane hoist.

This range of clamps permit the safe handling of all types of flanged drums with or without lids. This can be used to lift sealed drums on their own, if an open drum is to be lifted without spilling the contents, two clamps can be used with either a two leg chain sling or a small lifting beam and two slings. (Chain sling not included)

This is designed for the safe transportation of drums in the horizontal position. The level is designed to be pulled upwards which will close the tongs, it is fitted with a manually operated hold-open lever.

Crane Slung Drum Rotators are designed for controlled manual rotation of 210 litre drums, the attachment is slung under a crane, small fork pockets are fitted for use with a forklift truck. The gearbox allows controlled pouring and rotation through a full 360 degrees. Variations of girdle types are available to suit either steel or plastic drums. There is also a model for heavier drums of powder, scrap etc. As well as a model to suit 110 litre drums.

The DBV Grab is designed to lift and transport steel or plastic drums in the vertical position. The “V” shaped jaws are lined with hard wearing rubber ribbed pads, thus ensuring the drum is gripped firmly when being lifted. The jaws support pivot and remain vertical when lifting. Gripping diameters of 400-600mm. The grab can be fitted with an automatic open close device enabling the operator to stack drums remotely from floor level. The grab can be designed to suit other drum diameters.

The Camlok DCV500 clamp is designed to lift mild steel drums in the vertical position. A single clamp can be used to lift a drum with or without a lid. The clamp automatically grips the rim of the drum when the hook ring is lifted.

This is a heavy duty steel girdle fitted with two over centre clamps ensuring the drums are gripped firmly at all times. A heavy duty version of the crane-slung drum rotator, designed purposely for handling 210 litre steel drums, containing heavy products such as powder, scrap, lead steel components. Can come with Crank Handle or Loop Chain.

The gearbox allows a full 360 degrees rotation and precision controlled pouring. The drum is fixed to the attachment by a single webbing harness and ratchet.
