Ridgegear have developed this protection to get over the problem of ropes going over the edges such as roof edges. The sleeve is wrapped around the rope and held in place with Velcro, then slide the sleeve into the contact point. Suitable for 11mm kernmantle rope.

Suitable for a 16mm nylon rope.

Ridgegear RGL7 Standard Shock Pack is similar to the standard shock pack, which is fitted to all of the Ridgegear fall arrest lanyards. this unit is also fitted with a "back up" length of webbing for reassured strength and security. The transparent protective sleeve covering the unit, allows the user to visually inspect the condition before and after each use. Available in fully deployed length of 1.75m.

The RGl4 is supplied in 450mm length and is usually used as an extension strap fitted to the D ring of a full body harness. Made with 25mm 40kN webbing in the manufacture of this product which provides greater strength, wear and sheer resistance compared to other webbing. Has a sewn loop eye on free end.
