Ridgegear Guided Fall Arrestors For Synthetic and Steel Wire Rope

Ridgegear RGA10 Guided Fall Arrester Steel Rope Grab is designed to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to operatives ascending/descending a ladder or structure. Only available with 16mm Hawser laid rope. This unit can be ordered with or without a shock pack that cannot be removed, however due to the “gate opening” method of attachment, the RGA10 offers positive closure and good jamming action.

Ridgegear RGA12 Guided Fall Arrester Kernmantle Rope Grab is designed to provide vertical/inclined fall protection to the operative ascending or descending a ladder or structure. Only usable with 11mm Kernmantle Rope. When used by itself, the RGA 12 should be connected directly to the chest attachment of a harness via a karabiner. This ensures that the operative is held close to the structure and in the event of a slip, the fall distance and loading on the top anchor is minimal.

Ridgegear RGA11 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Grab For 8mm Cable is designed to provide vertical fall protection to an operative ascending or descending a ladder or structure. Only available for use with 8mm stainless steel wire rope. It should be directly connected to the chest attachment of a harness via a Karabiner, ensuring that the operative is held close to the structure.

Ridgegear RGA14 Guided Fall Arrester Aluminium Rope Grab is designed to provide either fall arrest or restraint protection depending on which system is specified. Also currently used in the rope access industry. The RGA14 is for use with 10.5 - 12.7mm kernmantle rope.
