For use with steel cable when durability is needed or synthetic rope. Advantages: Very simple to use as the rope is easily reeved on to the hoist, unlimited height of lift, 100% duty cycle with the hydraulically driven option, extremely compact size for portability which is sturdy and reliable. Hydraulic hoist particularly suitable for extreme environments such as permanent offshore use. Relatively lightweight and can be used with a pulley system for increased capacity.

The versatile hydraulic cable pulling unit is suitable for a multitude of applications in many fields of industry where loads have to be moved or tension applied during erection, assembly or whilst carrying out other functions or work. Typical applications include: Pulling together of sub assembly structures for joining, pulling of pipes, ducts and jointing, tensioning of shuttering for construction work and moving of machinery, steelwork/structures etc. Demolition work, tensioning / pulling of cables, erection of structures/lifting frames. Underground pipe replacement and bursting operations. Not to be used for lifting applications.

Hydraulic Wire Rope Pulling Machine (Tirfor Style) 6t and 12t. A hydraulic pulling or tensioning machine that is operated from a 1500lbs (105bar) hydraulic power pack suitable for use in deep mines, offshore or other industries where conventional pulling equipment or winches are unavailable or cannot be accommodated. Features include: Self articulating anchor post swivels through 360 degrees, any length of pull - governed only by length of rope used. 12" (305mm) wire rope movement per ram cycle. Not to be used for lifting applications.

Improved design features a multiple-planetary drive/backstop-clutch assembled on the centre shaft of a steel gear case with full-length internal teeth. This design handles more rugged jobs, extends service life and reduces maintenance. Lightweight yet powerful, these portable hoists move many heavyweight tasks and can get into remote or difficult-access sites.

This system provides the highest level of safety and ensures conformity with the EU machinery directive. The inlet port is usually open, until vehicle PTO is engaged. Pressure is then sensed in the control and the valve closes - willing to run on command by wanderlead or with the manual standby lever provided.
