Crosby Shank Lifting Hooks

The Crosby S319 Hoist Shank Hooks from 500kg to 75 tonnes incorporate markings forged into the product which address two (2) QUIC-CHECK features. They are supplied designed with deformation indicators - two strategically placed marks, one just below the shank or eye and the other on the hook up, which allows for a QUIC-CHECK measurement to determine if the throat opening has changed, thus indicating abuse or overload.

The range of Crosby BLD & BLB Standard Length Golden Gate Shank Hook are for use on existing load blocks requiring extra shank length. No.'s 2 through 12 style hooks are threaded approximately 80% of shank length.

The Crosby SHUR-LOC S318 Shank Hooks are Forged Alloy Steel and are quenched and tempered. The lock latch is self-socking when the hook is loaded. If properly installed and locked, this hook can be used for personnel lifting applications. It is individually proof tested to 2-1/2 times the Work Load Limit with certification. Fatigue rated at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit at 20,000 cycles. Suitable for use with Grade 100 and Grade 80 chain.
