Two main versions of swing jib crane are available: manually rotated or electrically rotated, read on for more details.

Manually rotated jib cranes are by far our best seller, probably as they are far cheaper than power slew and to be honest are easier to use being more convenient for the lighter loads, usually used manually under 2000kg. Standard swing jib models are available for lifting capacities from 125kg to 2000kg and jib lengths from 2m to 8m

  • “C” profile /  Channel profile version for lifting capacities from 63kg to 1000kg and jib lengths from 2m to 7m.
  • “I” profile cantilever version, for lifting capacities from 63kg to 2000kg and jib lengths from 2 m to 5 m.
  • “I” profile RSJ overbraced version, for lifting capacities from 125kg to 2000kg and jib lengths from 4m to 8m.
Column Mounted (Post), Free Standing Swing Jib Cranes

300° Manual Slew 'C' Profile Channel profile Free Standing Swing Jib Crane with Overbraced Arm. “C” Channel version: For lifting capacities from 63kg to 1000kg; Jibs from 2m to 7m; Manually rotated; 300° Slew; The arm is made using a special section bar made of folded sheet metal, inside which the hoist-carrying trolley runs. The arm is fitted with one or two staybolts which support the profile and connect it to the rotation tube. This version is characterised by the extreme ease of handling due to the low inertia derived from its own reduced weight. The arm is normally fitted with a special “channel” profile trolley, which allows it to be pushed with maximum fluidity. Our jib cranes are designed and manufactured according to the ISO A5 classification.
280° Manual Slew 'I' Profile Free Standing Swing Jib Crane with Underbraced Arm. The manually rotated jib cranes are available for lifting capacities from 125 kg to 2000 kg and jibs from 2m to 8m. The Donati jib cranes are designed and manufactured according to the ISO A5 classification. The possible configuration are: - GBA, floor mounted jib crane with square column characterized by a jib rotating angle of 300. The crane jib can be supplied in three different solution: - "T" cantilever version, for lifting capacities from 63kg to 2000kg and outreach from 2m to 5m. The arm is made using a laminated I-beam form: the hoist-carrying trolley run on the lower flange of the I-beam. The girder is self-supporting and cantilevered, so it has no support tie rods and it is directly integral with, via suitable reinforcement, the rotation tube. This version allows the optimum use of the available space at a height due to the absence of tie rods and allows the maximum use of the hook path.
300° Manual Slew 'I' Profile Free Standing Swing Jib Crane with Overbraced Arm. Options on 'I' Profile Beam up to 2000kg

Crane Lifting Capacity, Arm Length, Fixing Options, Paint Finish, Colour, Height under Beam, Mechanical Rotation Stops, Mains Isolator Switch (IP55), Optional Hoist and Swing Jib Crane Installation.

360° Manual Slew Free Standing Articulating Jib Crane to Suit Manipulators. The two semi-arms can be of different lengths and are able to rotate independently of each other. The standard models are available for lifting capacity 250kg and jibs from 2 m to 7 m and maximum rotation field of 360. The manually jib cranes are provided with a clutch braking device for the arm which allows the control of the rotation stress.
360° Manual Slew Free Standing Articulating Jib Crane. The manually rotated jib cranes with an articulated arm in the CBB "column" series and the MBB "wall" series are designed for the handling of goods inside the plant where the presence of fixed obstacles would impede the free rotation in terms of the mobility of the arm when it is formed by one rigid element. The cranes with an articulated jib are fitted with an arm made of two hinged pantograph-shaped segments which allow it to avoid fixed obstacles during rotation. The two semi-arms can be of different lengths and are able to rotate independently of each other. The standard models are available for lifting capacities from 125 Kg to 500 Kg and jibs from 2 m to 7 m and maximum rotation field of 360. The manually jib cranes are provided with a clutch braking device for the arm which allows the control of the rotation stress
280° Power Slew 'I' Profile Free Standing Swing Jib Crane with Overbraced Arm. The jib cranes are available in the CBE "Column" version or MBE "Wall" version. Created for handling goods in areas which are difficult to reach and for lifting big capacities. Available in standard versions for lifting capacities from 250 kg to 2000 kg.
Jibs from 2m to 8m. Maximum rotation field 300 for the column version and 270 for the wall version.
290° Power Slew 'I' Profile Free Standing Swing Jib Crane with Underbraced Arm. Options on Power Slewing Arm >2000kg

Lifting Capacity, Arm Length, Fixing Options, Paint Finish, Colour, Height under Beam, Mechanical Rotation Stops, Mains Isolator Switch (IP55), Hoist Required, Installation Required

360° Power Slew 'I' Profile Free Standing Swing Jib Crane with Underbraced Arm. Available as standard for lifting loads from 1000 kg to 10000 kg and jibs from 4 m to 10,5 m.
The column is made of steel plate with the upper part fitted with the flange for fixing the rotation thrust bearing.

The GBR series electrically rotated jib cranes are used to handle loads whose size or shape and weight may prohibit manual handling. They are also used when fixed obstacles impede the practicability of the working surface. They are the ideal solution for handling:

  • Heavy or awkward loads
  • on wharves; loading and unloading materials for watercraft / to haul boats, cantilever over a dock or quay
  • on loading ramps / for handling materials for lorries,
  • On production lines where the same lift is repeatted many times
  • Available as standard for lifting loads from 1000kg to 10.000kg and jibs from 4m to 10.5m in length.

The CBE series Electricaly Rotated (Power Slew) jib cranes offer a maximum rotation field 300° (290° in the T version), it is available; "T" or "H" sections.

The electrically rotated jib cranes with a motorised arm version are designed for handling goods in areas which are difficult to reach. They are used also when the frequency of manoeuvres, the nature of the load and the push forces, could cause excessive wear and tear if carried out manually. Available in standard versions for lifting capacities from 250 kg to 2000kg and jibs from 2m to 8m.

The CBB ”column” series of manually rotated jib cranes with articulated arm, are designed for the handling of goods inside a plant or a building site where the presence of fixed obstacles would impede the free rotation in terms of the mobility of the arm when it is formed by one rigid element. The cranes “with an articulated jib” are fitted with an arm made of two hinged “pantograph-shaped” segments which allow it to avoid fixed obstacles during rotation. The standard models are availablefor lifting capacities from 125 kg to 500 kg and jib lengths from 2 m to 7 m. In the version designed for the application of manipulators the maximum load is 125 kg.
